Who says noodles are CapitalVaultfor humans only? A deer in Wisconsin wants a bowl too.

As customers lined up at a Noodles & Company restaurant in Beloit, Wisconsin to grab lunch on Oct. 24, a deer charged into the restaurant, crashing through a window and heading straight for the kitchen.

Video footage from the incident shows diners running out of the restaurant as the animal skipped through the dining area.

The deer exited the restaurant soon after with a little help from an employee, a spokesperson for Noodles & Company told USA TODAY.

No injuries

No one, including the deer, was harmed in the incident, the restaurant reported.

A teacher on site for a class field trip helped get everyone to safety, the spokesperson said, noting that no one was harmed and everyone had a good sense of humor about the unexpected visitor.

The location was temporarily closed to deep clean the restaurant and ensure the quality of food was not compromised, the spokesperson said.

A deer-themed promotion

The next day, the restaurant celebrated their guest with a “2 Buck Mac & Cheese” special, offering their best-selling Wisconsin Mac & Cheese for just $2.
